Obama's smack at McCain's Drilling.

McCain was quoted as saying "I want to drill here. I want to drill now." McCain's drilling expeditions are getting pretty funny. This won't lower oil prices anytime soon so why drill more in Eco sensitive areas around the US. If drilling in those areas aren't going to help the prices go down, why drill in those places in the first place. What purpose does drilling for no reason have? I guess if you want to ruin the environment, that's a good place to start.
Obama said that the government should force oil companies to use the land they have before the government allows drilling in more sensitive places. Now that's something I can agree with. Why take the chance of ruining the environment when you don't have to and might get the same result?
Obama also said, “After one president in the pocket of the oil companies; we can’t afford another." For the sake of our economy, our security, and the future of our planet, we have to end the age of oil.”
With that quote I have to say that Obama has really taken off the gloves and told some hard truths. That is something I can say that really impresses me. Someone needs to tell it like it is and paint a true picture of the current president and McCain.
McCain has to get his priorities straight and realize that the American people don't want to rely on oil anymore. This is something that Obama realizes and has set goals to defer us from relying on. With the burning of fossil fuels and our weakening ecosystem, why hasten our planets end? Why can't we as a country, as a world, work to eliminate the burden of oil? Maybe because it's greed that drives the world and not our concern for our future. GOOD DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
